Terms of Service
Last updated: October 26, 2026
These terms are an agreement between SixLabs Inc. ("SixLabs", "we") and the business that subscribes to WinCore ("you"). By subscribing to or using WinCore you agree to them on your business's behalf, and you confirm you're allowed to bind your business. Our Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum are part of these terms. If you have a signed agreement with us (for example, an Enterprise agreement), it wins where it says something different.
1. The service
WinCore is software for window and door dealers: importing manufacturer quotes, building proposals, and, on the plans that include them, managing leads, companies, the calendar, jobs and online payments. What each plan includes is listed on our pricing page. We may improve or change features over time; we won't remove a core feature of your plan without telling you first.
We sometimes offer features marked as early access or beta. They're optional, may change or be withdrawn, and are provided as they are.
2. Accounts
- Your subscription is for one company. Its admin adds and removes the people who use it, up to your plan's seats.
- Each login belongs to one person and one company. Keep passwords and authenticator codes private; you're responsible for what's done with your company's logins.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.
- You must be a business, and the people you add must be your staff or contractors working for you. WinCore isn't for personal or household use.
3. Plans, billing and cancelling
- Plans are billed monthly in Canadian dollars, in advance, through Stripe. Starter is billed per seat; Standard and Professional are a flat monthly price. Taxes are added where they apply.
- You can change plan or seats, update your card, or cancel at any time from your organization's billing page. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for; we don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
- If you add seats or move to a higher plan partway through a month, Stripe charges the difference for the rest of that month.
- If a payment fails, we'll let your admin know. If it isn't sorted out within 7 days, your workspace is paused until it is. Your data isn't deleted while it's paused.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of your plan.
4. Online payments
If you turn on online payments, your customers can pay you by card or bank debit through a link WinCore sends.
- Payments are processed by Stripe on a Stripe account in your business's name. To open one you accept Stripe's own Connected Account Agreement, which is between you and Stripe.
- The money goes to your Stripe account, not to us. Stripe's processing fees, refunds, chargebacks and disputes are between you, your customer and Stripe.
- We charge a small fee on each online payment, shown in Organization → Payments before you turn it on. Stripe takes it from the payment. We'll give you 30 days' notice before changing it.
- If you pass card fees on to your customers, you're responsible for doing so lawfully, including any limits and disclosure rules on surcharging where you and your customer are.
- Payments by e-Transfer, cheque or cash that you record in WinCore never pass through us or Stripe.
5. Your data
- Your quotes, clients, files and everything else you put into WinCore ("your data") stay yours. You give us permission to host, copy and process your data only as needed to provide, secure and support WinCore for you. We don't sell it.
- When your data includes personal information about your customers or staff, we process it on your behalf under our Data Processing Addendum. You're responsible for having the right to collect it and for telling your customers how you use it.
- How we handle personal information about you is set out in our Privacy Policy.
- Support access. When you ask for help, or when we need to fix a problem with your workspace, a member of our team may open a read-only, time-limited support session into it. Each session is recorded with who opened it and why.
- We may use counts and measurements about how WinCore is used (for example, how many quotes are created), with nothing that identifies your business or anyone in it, to run and improve WinCore.
- You can export your data at any time while your account is open, and for 30 days after it ends. After you cancel, your data is kept so you can come back; ask us and we'll delete it for good.
6. Our software
WinCore, and everything in it apart from your data, belongs to SixLabs. While you're subscribed we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your business. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
7. Acceptable use
Use WinCore in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: don't use it to break the law, to send spam, to upload anything you don't have the right to, or to try to get into data or accounts that aren't yours, and don't try to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend an account that does, and we'll tell you why unless the law or the safety of the service stops us.
8. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's non-public information (your data, our pricing terms, security details) confidential, use it only for this agreement, and share it only with people and service providers who need it and are bound to protect it, or where the law requires.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep WinCore available and your data backed up, but we don't promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We'll try to do planned maintenance outside business hours. Support is by email; Professional plans get priority. Enterprise customers' service levels are set out in their own agreement.
10. Warranties
We'll provide WinCore with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, WinCore is provided "as is", without other warranties or conditions, including fitness for a particular purpose. WinCore helps you prepare quotes and run jobs; you're responsible for checking the prices, measurements, taxes and terms you send your customers, and for the decisions you make with it.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows:
- our total liability to you for all claims under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose; and
- neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data that could have been restored from backups.
These limits don't apply to your obligation to pay us, to either side's breach of section 8, or to anything the law doesn't allow to be limited.
12. Claims from third parties
If someone makes a claim against us because of your data or your use of WinCore in breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it. If someone claims that WinCore itself infringes their rights, we'll defend you against it and cover the costs, as long as you tell us promptly and let us handle it.
13. Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time (section 3). We may end the agreement if you seriously break these terms and don't fix it within 14 days of our telling you, straight away if the breach can't be fixed, and otherwise with 30 days' notice. If we end it without cause, we'll refund any fees you've paid for time after it ends. Sections 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 15 keep applying after it ends.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, tell your admin by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before they apply.
15. General
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of British Columbia decide any dispute.
- Things outside our control. Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as outages at our hosting provider, natural disasters or labour disputes.
- Transfer. Neither of us may transfer this agreement without the other's consent, except to a business that takes over all or most of the transferring party's business.
- Notices. We'll send notices to your admin's email address; you can send yours to the address below.
- Whole agreement. These terms, with the documents they link to, are the whole agreement about WinCore. If a part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part straight away doesn't mean we've given it up.
- Language. These terms and the documents they link to are also available in French. Both versions have equal weight.
